Lori Lee Ward Mickelson, age 49, passed away January 10th 2010. Things were rough for her and loved ones at the end of her life but she left behind a couple generations of amazing kids, grandkids, memories and she is very much missed by everyone who knew her.

Lori was born January 2nd 1961 to Don and Gale Ward in Kingman Arizona. She had three brothers named Donny, David and Steven. She was an amazing artist and had some of the most beautiful paintings. She loved to show them off and talk about them. She also was an amazing sales lady! This woman could sell ice to an eskimo. (Thankfully Jake got this trait of hers, cause thats whats paying the bills) She started her own Tamale business and was very successful. She got to travel all over and make great friends and meet amazing people and was given different awards throughout her career. Another thing that made her unique was her athletic abilities. She would excersice by riding her bike endless miles through cliffs and hills. She would jog miles and miles up the mountain to there home in Pintura. She would lift weights and was very in shape and toned throughout her whole adulthood.

The most important thing about Lori was her family. She has 6 kids of her own and 4 grandchilren and that number is only going to get bigger. She nursed everyone of her kids till they could say "no!" and she loved her kids with everything she had. Up until her last day, thats all she could talk about. She constantly said how much she loved them, how she was so proud of all of them, and how lucky she felt to be there mother.

~All The People Alive Because of Lori~

Somer was Lori's first child born on September 19th 1984. At the time Lori was married to Barry King. He is the father of Lori's first two children. Somer is now a stunning young lady, age 25. She lives in Las Vegas Nevada. She has two kids, Javion and Hannah. She is just like her mom and works out like crazy! She loves horseback riding and shopping and is currently with a GREAT guy named Vince! :D

Ashley was born September 4th 1987 to Lori and Barry King. Down the road a little the two got a divorce and eventually came to St. George Utah and she met Jody Mickelson. Ashley is now 22 years old and lives with her gorgeous little family in Abaline Texas. Her husband is in the airforce and they have a 1 year old son name Tank Ryan. Ashleys got her moms sense of humor (for sure!) and her natural beauty. She doesnt even need to put makeup on and she looks great. She likes spending time with her family, starbucks and shopping.

Jacob Conan Mickelson (King)(Long story) was born January 18th 1991 to Jody and Lori. Everyone said he was a happy little baby and always smiling. Jake is now 19 years old. Him and his family live in St. George Utah. Him and his wife have 1 daughter named Zoe Rose King. Using the amazing talents he got from his mom he retails for Dishnetwork, Directv, Verizon, Sprint etc. He's one of the top salesman in the company. Jake loves video games, watching movies, spending time with his family, food and the great outdoors.

Aubree Mickelson was born on February 15th 1995. This girl is an animal lover. She can tell you anything about any animal! She watches discovery channel and animal planet for fun and is always looking up stuff online to find out more about them. She's raised Great Dane's, German Sheperds, Ferrits, Horses and other breeds of dogs here and there. She's also got her moms long, skinny figure and will soon be 16! In one year boys! Aubree also loves excercising, hiking, listening to music, hanging with her friends and outsmarting her little brother.

Jon Luc Mickelson was born November 3rd 1998. At age three Jon was hit by a jeep. His head and body was run over. He was life lighted to another city where he was in critical condition for three months. The doctors said he wouldn't even make the flight down to Vegas and kept saying it as months passed. Lori was at the hospital by his side the entire time and luckily Abby was a baby at the time cause the only way Jon would eat anything was to be nursed. They finally transferred him back to St. George where he had to learn to walk again going from wheelchair to walker. But obviously he pulled through and he's the loudest one of them now! He's also the shortest :) Jon is now 11 and is a ripped little kid. He can do sit ups and pull ups all day long. He wants to be a UFC fighter someday and he enjoys video games, snowboarding, basketball, football and wrestling.

Jade Abigail Mickelson (Abby) was born on January 25th 2002. She's the baby of the family and is now 8 years old. She was just baptized a member of the church a couple weeks ago and is the cutest girl ever! This girl ha got her mothers artistic talent, she can draw amazingly good pictures for her age. You give her blank paper and crayons and she's occupied all day long. She's always drawing us pictures and showing us cool new things she can draw. She's also got a good size attitude just like her mom, so dont make her mad. She loves being with her family, coloring, watching t.v and movies, playing board games, animals and just about anything with sugar in it.

Javion Disney was born October 13th 2001 to Somer and Brandon. He's now 8 years old and has definately got his own unique personality. This kid can dance! You get the right tunes goin and he'll get out and break dance and show everyone else up. He's also smooth with the ladies ;) and always has something smart or funny to say. You cant help but smile around this kid. He likes to skateboard, ride scooters, ride bikes, swimming, watching movies, and like the rest of his family....foood!

Hannah Disney was born on July 29th 2004. Right now she is 5 years old and i swear this girl will be a model. Just like her mom and grandma, she has a long skinny figure and the cutest face! This girl also love clothes, she likes to mix and match outfits and look cute. She's got a sweet personality and likes to watch out for her brother (when there not fighting). Everyone who meets Hannah loves her to death! She loves to swim, dance, watch t.v and doing anything outdoors.

Tank Ryan was born December 11th 2008 to Ashley and JD. He's a little over a year old now and is going to be a heart breaker someday. He's a mommy's boy and Lori couldnt wait for him to be born. She loved him so much and I'm positive she's looking after him.

Zoe Rose was born May 18th 2009 to Jacob and Kelsi. She's currently 9 months old and a big time drama queen! Zoe got Lori's beautiful eyes and for the short time she got to spend with her, Lori taught Jake a trick to getting her to sleep by stroking her forehead lightly and it works everytime. Same as for Tank,Hannah, and Javion, Lori loved her grandkids and she's watching over all of them.

I would first like to say how much I LOVE the holidays and being with the family and I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! Here's a little update on what we've been up too!
For thanksgiving we went down to our beloved STG! It was warm and sunny and familiar and we loved it! We had a hard time coming back but while we were down there we had our own little photo shoot, which was very needed with the recent events. So this will be our first family photo in about 7-8 years! It wasnt everyone but we had me, Jake, and Zoe and then my family and the only family left on my dads immediate side. My aunt Randi, Cousin Lexi, and Cousin Lily. (and look how color coordinated we are!)

After our photoshoot we went to my Aunt Lynns for Thanksgiving! It was so awesome to see everyone and of course....we had to play on the tramp!

Updates on Zoe! She can now crawl!! She doesnt do it all the time yet cause she gets lazy but she can also go from laying on her stomach to sitting all by herself! I'll have to get it on video but we have also added Gerber 1st foods into her diet and she loves it! Right when we get her into her high chair she starts opening her mouth haha AND the biggest, bestest news of all! she is sleeping through the night, the whole night, in her own room, in her own crib, and she doesnt cry when we put her down anymore.......I absolutely love it! and we love her!!

I miss the heat under my bare feet on the side walk and the sun warming my face and just everything about St. George. I'm going through withdrawels.........aaahh!

But there has been a good thing living up here! We made friends with some awesome people! I tend there cute little 18 month old daughter Kaija during the week, and Kari and Ty (her parents) are way fun to hang out with and are like our only friends up here! There so awesome that for my and jakes 1st year anniversary we went and saw New Moon with them! haha lots of fun! Heres a picture i took of Kaija, :D what a cutie!

Also we got a little kitty!! This little guys name is Toby......dont ask me why. Jake had an epiphany i guess. But it took him a couple days to get over kodak but now he thinks he's a dog too and follows Kodak everywhere. and us. yay.

And then there is Zoe's obsession with drinks. She knows what they are and when we have a drink with a straw in it, she will cry until we let her hold it! We usually have to replace it with water cause we learned our lesson of how much sugar is in soda, and how late it makes them stay up :)
