Low calorie Apple Dessert recipe!

My mom told me about this recipe and it sounded so good that I had to try it asap. Also because the whole dessert is 80 calories! (like 2 points on the weight watchers system)

Its so delicious AND filling!

Ingredients

-Cinnamon hearts/Red hots

-Apple

-Ground cinnamon

-Whipped cream(low fat)
-Graham cracker

Instructions!

1.Cut up the apple into little chunks and put in a microwavable mug.

2. Add one serving of the cinnamon hearts to the mug (my bag says 1 serving is 36 pieces)

3. Microwave for 4 minutes, stir half way through and then again when its done. It will create its own juices and turn the apples red.

4.Break of two squares of graham cracker and mash it up. (I put it in a baggy and used a spoon to crush it up) then add to cup.

5. Add whipped cream!

6. Sprinkle cinnamon on top.

7. Then I stir it up to mix all the flavors and its such a good treat!!

My kids are TOO cute.

Its almost been two weeks with Jake gone!! Almost half way there :/ but we had cafe rio night again on Wednesday at my parents house and with Zoe being allergic to everything and its grandma, she was sniffling and sneezing by the time we got home because of there dog Maddy. I didnt think it was that big of a deal until she was up all night puking and sneezing and not being able to breath!!! :( poor baby. I wish I could just make it all go away....but we took her to doctors and got her some medicine so for now she cant go to grandmas house. :(
Kailee came and hung out with us last night and we made dirt and worms. It actually turned out to be like mud and worms but it was still super yummy!! and I had to explain to Zoe that it wasnt really worms haha she was pretty skeptical at first!

This is a picture I took while we were at my parents the other night. Karson and his friend were playing with Zoe and they were having a "picnic" and then Roran joined in and I thought it was cute. (:

Then I got a little crafty and actually had some energy so I did a little DIY project for all my jewelry. This really freed up alot of room in my drawers and I like being able to see all my stuff on display. Reminds me to accesorize and that I have choices (:

Then here is a picture I took this morning of my two adorable kids playing together! I love it when I see them laughing and enjoying each others company. I really hope they become best friends in the future. (: and then another picture of my little roro who fell asleep on me and he NEVER does that anymore so I had to take a picture.

I miss Jake....

Yesterday was a hard day!! I had two important people in my life just kinda dip out and show there true colors...I kind of feel like my support system here is gone :( I want to just pick up and move to North Dakota. You realize that friends come and go when they please but your husband and your kids are what matter the most. They'll always be there no matter what....and all I want to do is be with Jake. The cost of living there is WAY higher and theres nothing out there.....I wouldnt even be able to take Zoe swimming. So I dont know....I've been contemplating going but we'll see.

Atleast I have these kiddos to love me and keep me entertained! There so full life and energy and CuTeNeSs! I LOVE THEM! and Zoe has to be the sweetest girl ever, dont know how I got so lucky cause yesterday when I was sad she said "mama, its ok! you have me! I'll keep you company and cheer you up."......Talk about heart melting. I just need to keep busy and ignore all the negative!


On monday I decided to take the kids to McDonalds and get them happy meals and let Zoe play in the play place, because we havnt gotten out of the house in way too long. It was rorans first happy meal and he was a happy boy haha he couldnt believe all the stuff I was handing him while eating...AND A TOY. and then zoe could care less about the happy meal and just wanted to go play. But she was to scared to actually go up the stairs to get to the slide so she just ran back and forth at the bottom saying hi to everyone (:

Monday night I went out with my good friend brooke for her 21st birthday! We partied real hard ;) haha but we went and saw Magic Mike. Amazing movie. Enough said.

Then yesterday I let Zoe take her first "bubble" bath in my big tub and she LOVED it. I had to force her out.

After her bath zoe noticed some lights through our living room window and we found to our amazement a firework show. That we could see sitting on our couch in the living room! I think the neighbors somehow bought some expensive ones and were doing them on the street over? Not sure but It was a nice little surprise after a rough day (:

Baking Frenzy

The baking bug from pinterest bit me today and we baked! While the kids were sleeping I made the first recipe which was Chocolate Banana Bread.....FREAKING DELISH! Zoe tried it later and didnt like it but whatever...

Then as an activity for Zoe.. (poor roran just isnt old enough for most of the stuff) we made muffins. I let Zoe help me as much as she could. She loved helping! It made her feel like such a big girl (:

Lazy Day

First my prayers go out to the families affected by the shooting at the movies! Makes me sick to my stomach.....there is definately a special spot in hell for that man and men like him.

Other than that we had a pretty good day, just a real kicked back lazy day. I my "morning sickness" has gone up and my energy levels have gone down so it was nice to just lay around all day. We did go to the store though! Zoe always gets spoiled when we go, she threw a bag of colored mini marshmellows in the cart and gave me the puppy dog look. Theres NO WAY I can say no to that haha
Its also been crazy weather this last week, thunder storms with light rain.....in the middle of July....in STG??? crazy. But we got a beautiful rainbow last night, went out on the porch and enjoyed the view till it went away....

Also my parents went on the anual "family" vacation today.....without me.....cause they would rather have a babysitter for there dog then have me around ;) but roran LOVES the dog, the whole night hes just been cuddling with the dog, and sitting on her, and pulling her ears......haha poor dog.

And I'm throwing in this picture of Zoe cause I get to cuddle with her every night with jake gone and I love it. She melts my heart <3

Its gonna be a long month....

So I didnt have anything I did on day 3 cause we had alot of errands to run! We also went to grandmas house for family Cafe Rio night! yummm. Anyways, its Thursday now...day 4 of Jake being gone and it feels like I havnt seen him forever. Zoe keeps making comments like "daddy will be home soon right?" So right now I'm feeling like time is going by really slow! We have been able to skype with jake and the kids love it! roran tries to kiss the screen and says dadadada and Zoe talks to him like hes really there. I'm grateful for technology!!! Now on to todays activity.....STACKING CUPS! Seems stupid...simple...whatever, but the kids LOVED it! It kept them entertained for hours! Roran just liked kicking them around and throwing them, but zoe was determined to build a huge tower without roran knocking it down first haha....it was fun and I even joined in a little.

Day 2! I asked zoe what if she could color ANYTHING she wanted....what would it be? She wanted to color Pocoyo.....the Nickjr show. haha so amazing google helped me with that. She picked out her favorites and I printed them and let her go to town! Its so cute to watch her "try" to stay in the lines and color in a big space.....she gets so frustrated. she asked me for help and when she saw that my coloring was better than hers she pipes up and goes "aww mom your drawing just like me huh?" haha I love her! but they turned out beautiful (:

Then theres Roran, he's obviously to young to just sit and color. I cant get him to sit still to do anything! He came and hung on the back of Zoe's stool while she was coloring and talked to us lol and when i pulled the camera out.....he got goofy and started posing (:

And then Zoe insisted that I hung her pictures up in her room! She was so happy with herself (:



Day 1 of Month without Dad!!

Jake is gone up in North Dakota for work and the first time he has to be gone a month! After that it will only be about two weeks at a time, but its worth it for the amount of money he is making! So I decided to help my time go by faster I am going to do a fun activity with the kids every single day till he gets back. (something we dont regularly do) and I'm gonna blog about it!! :)


So day 1!!! We closed all the blinds and turned off all the lights, turned on the surround sound, made popcorn and cuddled up on the couch and watched Lion King! It was like a mini theatre experience for Zoe and she loved it! Roran....well, he ate the popcorn and went and played in his room. haha Also somehow this movie brought up death. (with mufasa dying) and  Zoe had so many questions about what happens when you die and how far away that person goes. :/ I sucked at answering these questions!! yikes!
